Held annually in Enoshima, the iconic venue of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics (18th Olympic Games) and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (held in 2021), this is Japan’s only international dinghy competition.
This event features Olympic classes alongside youth and junior categories, bringing together a diverse range of sailors. If this event is lost, junior, youth, university, and adult sailors in Japan will no longer have the opportunity to gain international racing experience domestically, forcing them to rely solely on overseas competitions.

この大会は、1964年の東京オリンピック（第18回大会）と、2020年（2021年開催）の東京オリンピック（第32回大会）でセーリング競技の舞台となった江の島で毎年開催されている、日本唯一の国際ディンギーレースです。
本大会では、オリンピック種目に加え、ユースやジュニアクラスも実施され、幅広い世代の選手が集います。国内でこのような国際大会は他になく、もし大会が消滅すれば、ジュニア・ユースから大学生・社会人まで、国内で国際レースを経験する機会が失われ、海外遠征なしでは国際舞台を目指せなくなります。
